Why This Reference Exists
Indiana law provides access to many public records, yet the right custodian depends on the event. The St. Joseph County Police Department creates the jail intake record and may make a booking image available through JailTracker or a records request. Indiana courts hold the filed case and its final disposition. The Indiana Department of Correction maintains records for people serving state sentences, although its current public locator does not display a portrait. This site organizes those official lookup and request paths without storing the underlying records or publishing a photo collection.
What We Organize
The focus is practical access to records held by the responsible office:
- The county records hub, including the JailTracker roster, Daily Log, booking-photo requests, and record correction routes.
- A safe, official path to the Most Wanted and warrant information maintained by county police and the courts.
- Clear differences among current county custody, a released booking, a filed court case, and a state prison record.
- Local paths for South Bend, Mishawaka, and Walkerton arrests that result in a commitment to St. Joseph County Jail.
Limits of Our Role
This is a private website. It has no affiliation with the St. Joseph County Police Department, St. Joseph County Jail, Indiana Department of Correction, any court, or any other government body.
- We cannot release, detain, or transfer a person in custody.
- We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds.
- We cannot provide legal advice or act for a requester.
- We cannot promise that every contact, fee, or office detail remains current.
Only the agency holding the record can confirm current custody, recorded charges, or release. A roster link is a starting point, not an official statement from this site.
Outside Search Partners
Some search boxes are supplied by independent providers. Those companies set their own prices and control their own results. If a visitor follows a tool and buys a subscription or service, this site may receive a referral fee that helps keep access to the site free. That relationship does not give us control over a partner's data, charges, or service.
